Fratelli Perata Wines have received some pretty nice awards over the years and soon we would like to share them with you.  Here's an incomplete list. We'll keep looking around for the rest of them!

A word about Wine Competitions

Due to many factors we never enter every wine at every competition every year. We consider that:

 

Each competition has its own rules about the minimum amount of a wine produced and the number of case available when the awards are announced.  Many times our wines are bottled too late in the year to enter a competition.  Many times our wines are sold out before the awards would be announced, and thus would be disqualified, The expense of the entries in wine and dollars. Whether a previous year's medal has drawn such  attention to the variety that an entry for the new vintage isn't necessary (we know that the wine is good!).

Remember that generally we store out wines in barrel and bottle for much longer than the ordinary winery, so don't generally look for the most current year. For example, in 2002 our current release Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva was from the 1997 vintage. With that being said, here's a partial list!
